Last we heard about Nissan's trials and tribulations in North America, the Japanese automaker was actively considering the possible death of the full-size Titan and Titan XD nameplates after the 2024 model year.

But, of course, the Japanese automaker will have trouble finding a suitable powertrain to compete with the supercharged V8s of potential American rivals. While it's far-fetched to imagine Nissan ditching the Titan and Titan XD nameplates in favor of the Navara Nismo model, it dares to mix a full-size pickup truck with the F-150 Raptor R.

 It doesn't look half bad, ready to hit the dunes and crawl over the rocks, the speed and it could easily find a home in the sandy deserts of the Middle East and Latin America, hey it might even be suitable for North America.

If any of the sector's big guns are Ram's 1500 TRX and Ford's anyway, Dimas Ramadhan, the virtual automotive artist behind the Digimods DESIGN channel on YouTube, has created a CGI work to reveal the larger-than-life Nissan Navara Nismo Pro-4X full-size pickup truck. That's purely wishful thinking, of course, as the Nissan Navara is the midsize pickup truck equivalent of the Frontier for global markets, plus if the dedicated Titan and Titan XD fail to succeed, who knows Can Novara prevail? Also, we haven't heard of high-riding Nismo models for North America even though it's a phenomenon in other regions like the Middle East.

That means they'll only stick with the third-generation, all-new D41 Nissan Frontier, the first dedicated version for North America to battle the tide of new midsize pickup trucks, including the all-new Ford.
